Welcome to Greyhills Academy High School
We hope you spend some time on our site getting to know us. Here at Greyhills Academy it is important to us that our students succeed. Our supportive faculty, staff, and administration are always here to guide and mentor our students. You’ll find out more about our Governing Board, our Administration, and our Parent Advisory Committee on the pages below.
At Greyhills Academy it’s not only important to us to help our students succeed, but also to teach and educate our students about the Navajo culture. We encourage students to take pride in their rich culture and heritage by exposing them to many programs and activities as well as offering our students the opportunity to learn the Navajo language.
Our campus classes begin at 8:10 in the morning and students are dismissed at 3:10 in the afternoon. We use a block system scheduling for classes; each class is 90 minutes long.
To help incoming freshman ease into the rigors and expectation of our school, we have the Freshman Academy. This is a highly structured transitional program to give our incoming freshman the support they need to be successful.
While we are a PL 100-297 grant school and many students ride the bus to attend classes here like any traditional high school, here at Greyhills Academy we also offer a residential program where students live here on campus in our male or female dormitories. For more information about how your child can live here on campus or how to register for school, please visit our Registration and Immunization page.
