Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) are not statistics. They are the daughters, sisters, mothers, aunties and friends. Their stories matter. Their lives matter.
We stand in honor of those who are missing, those who have been taken and the families who continue to search, grieve, and fight for justice. We will not forget them. Most of all we will continue to speak their names.
